I love that God has given me the talent and opportunity to be an encouragement with the message of living fully alive through Jesus Christ. All the glory belongs to Him.”

— Nathan Maack

Biography

Music plays a vital role in Nathan Maack’s life. As a soloist and member of multiple music groups, his involvement includes singing, playing instruments, composing, arranging, producing, conducting, as well as marketing and booking events.

Nathan began playing piano by ear at age three. As a young child, he was singing solos at his home church. His love for Southern Gospel music began at three while attending a Cathedral Quartet concert. Although young, it was clear this music had infiltrated his heart.

He joined the Phoenix Boys Choir at age nine. After only one year in the Training Choir, Nathan was accepted into the elite Tour Choir. With this group, he developed his vocal skills and musical knowledge, and traveled throughout North America and Europe.

Nathan has composed more than 140 songs; a majority being gospel music. He wrote his first band composition in Jr. High School and while attending Phoenix Christian High School, he became student conductor of the band and wrote his award-winning second band selection. His gospel songs have been used on several CDs.

In February 2015, Nathan was invited to perform two sets as a soloist at the Southwest Gospel Music Festival held at the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix alongside top gospel music groups.

In addition to his solo work, he is the pianist and a fill-in vocalist for His Messengers, a regional male vocal ensemble for around fifteen years.

Nathan also became the Worship Leader at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2024. He leads Sunday services, a praise team, instrumentalists, and a seasonal choir.

Nathan still sings but it became clear that God was leading his main instrument to be the piano. His unique and artistic style have brought joy to those who have heard him in concert, through CDs, and on the internet.

Nathan has a desire to minister in concert with churches and Christian organizations and events. Since 2000, he has been performing solo concerts at several locations throughout Arizona and the Southwest.

Revival Tour

Nathan Maack wants to help reignite a sincere passion for the Lord through the classic hymns of the church and southern gospel songs.

Nathan’s concerts and events are Christ-focused and present the gospel in a non-intimidating way featuring many well-known hymns and southern gospel classics with a small complement of modern worship songs. Nathan brings his passion for these musical styles with a large range of different tempos, rhythms, and Christian themes.

His concert ministry is unique. The majority of each appearance features his piano playing. However, Nathan is known to sing a few solos during each concert as well. Throughout the performance, he interjects humor and stories to help make an impact on the messages of the songs. There are also many opportunities for the audience members to sing along on the songs!

These events have been designed to provide a relaxed atmosphere and encourage the audience to have a good time. In an era where there is so much bad news and trials that people are going through, this music allows the listener to have fun and to be encouraged while worshiping the Lord and being reminded of God’s goodness and constant presence in our lives.

We understand that not all churches sing the hymns or southern gospel music in their services but we ask that you would still consider this concert for your church. Families can participate together to hear and sing songs they haven’t heard in a long time and provide an opportunity to introduce these great musical styles of the church filled with timeless biblical theology to the younger generations.

Nathan is avaliable for:

  • Full-length concerts
  • Church services
  • Church events
  • Senior's events
  • Conferences
  • Assisted living centers
